Right as we’re nearing Christmas I thought I’d post some music that has some thing to do with the festive season!Here is a band named Reindeer Section, formed by Gary Lightbody lead singer from Snow Patrol. They are pretty chilled out and easy listening.

So there we have it! Maybe we could carry on this festive theme?! Get posting :)

As there has yet to be any recognition for the reuniting of Train I thought i’d go ahead and post one of their songs from their latest album (2009) Save Me San Francisco.

Hey Soul Sister is probably their most known track however I like Breakfast in Bed (in reality and the song!)

So these guys are new…OR are they!!!

The band is actually made up from band members Tim and Jesse from Keane!! So its no wonder why I like them. The video to this is pretty cool to!

Turin Brakes… not someone i would normally listen to, but came across this song and …well i like the music video a lot and now i’m warming to them. Did a little research and found out they played at Glastonbury(2010), and are more commonly known for their song piankiller. Worth a listen, sound a bit like Elbow, if you haven’t listened to Elbow then go do it now! I also think this guys voice reminds me of Noel Gallagher’s twangy sound… just a thought.

Alright alright!! I know we all love mumford and sons and they’ve been posted before but man alive I just love this song. So i’m posting it anyway! I’m just doing as the song says awakening that soul… for music!

Its a good track from their new album Tomorrow Morning, however if your into something a bit more up beat then check out track 11 called Looking Up, its a track I recon you could do a nice remix to.

Radical Face, what a name hey! Well this song is called Welcome Home, its got a nice sound to it, reminds me of The Postal Service if any of you have heard of them. If not check them out too! Their song Such Great Heights is a good one!

Oh and the guy from Radical Face was from Electric President before that so if you want to check them out too why not!

A new discovery for me a band called Barcelona with their song please don’t go, I think this is a beautiful piece of music!

I have a feeling I may have already posted this before or one of her other songs, however shes pretty cool, I like her style, for me this is one of those songs that gets stuck in my head and I find my self suddenly bursting into song “I AM NOT A ROBOT” as I walk down the street.

To all the guitarist among us, here’s a lil treat for you… Trace Bundy! Who is he? Well he isnt someone you would listen to on the radio BUT he is a pretty talented guitarist and I was gutted when I missed out on seeing him live in Bristol this time last year. Check out his 5 capo moves! Oh and if you’ve never heard of drifting then check out Andy Mckee up on youtube, now thats some awesome stuff!!

If you are not yet familiar with Scott Matthews let me introduce you to him. Here is his song Elusive. My parents always refer to me as elusive like a butterfly,hard to catch. I seem to have a soft spot for this song.
